Choosing the Right Pillow Insert Size
Measure your empty pillow cover from seam to seam, without the old insert inside.
For a full, designer-style appearance:
- Match the cover width and length exactly, or size up only 0.5 to 1 inch when the cover has room and you want a fuller fit. Do not size up more than 1 inch on the width or length.
- Match the insert depth exactly to the cover depth. Do not size up the depth.
For example, pair a 20 x 20 x 4 box pillow cover with a 21 x 21 x 4 down feather box insert. The added width and length help fill the edges while the matching depth preserves the intended profile.

What to Expect
