For a full, designer-style appearance:
- For most rectangle covers, choose an insert 1 inch larger in both dimensions.
- When both cover dimensions are 18 inches or larger and the proportions are close to square, choose an insert 2 inches larger in both dimensions. When one side is noticeably longer than the other, size up 1 inch in both dimensions regardless of size. Very long or narrow lumbar covers may fit best at the same size, or with only the short side increased by 1 inch.
For example, pair a 12 x 20 pillow cover with a 13 x 21 down feather pillow insert for a full, tailored look. The larger insert helps fill the corners and reduces loose fabric and wrinkles without making a long pillow overly tight.

What to Expect
