1) AT HOME SPA NIGHT

Bubble Bath

A hot bubble bath at the end of a long day can bring comfort like none other, and putting together your own DIY Spa Night is the perfect way to win your Valentine’s heart! You just need a handful of items to create a gift that will keep on giving!

◌ Bubble Bath Bubbles (Located in Pigeon Forge, TN ... just down the road from us!)

◌ Bath Salts

◌ Cozy Bath Towels

◌ Candles

◌ Herbal Tea  (We recommend white teas or ones with calming properties like jasmine, peppermint, or chamomile).

*We’ve linked to a handful of handmade-in-the-USA products above! Supporting other small businesses is something we love to do.

2) BRUNCH IN BED

Enjoying breakfast in bed is one of life’s finest luxuries, and a treat that does not happen often for many! Your homemade brunch doesn’t have to be a five-star-resort spread, but even being aware of some of the finer details can make your Valentine feel the love in big ways.

◌ Heart Shaped Pancakes: Don’t be intimidated by all of the heart shaped treats you see across social media and Pinterest! Making your own heart pancakes is easier than you think. All you need is your favorite pancake mix and metal or silicone heart-shaped cookie cutters. Simply heat up your skillet or pan as you normally would for homemade pancakes and pour your batter into the center of the cookie cutters, filling half way. Once the first side of your pancake cooks through, you can easily remove the cookie cutter and your pancakes will maintain their Valentine shape. Tip: purchased a variety of sizes to create a plate full of creativity!

◌ Add Color with Fresh Foods: Strawberries, raspberries, and watermelon add lovely color to the meal & instantly create beauty! Top your pancakes with whipped cream and berries and serve the watermelon on the side.

Bring on the Drink Specials: Add whipped cream and heart-shaped sprinkles to your morning coffee or change out your everyday orange juice for a DIY homemade strawberry bellinis

3) BUILD AN EPIC PILLOW FORT

We all need a little childhood adventure sprinkled into our adult lives… make it happen with an epic DIY pillow fort! Order take out, light up the interior with Christmas lights, and pile in all of the blankets and pillows you can find to create the ultimate Valentine’s Day space. Making out-of-the-norm memories with your Valentine is something that is sure to bring smiles for days to come.

4) COZY NIGHT INDOORS

Sometimes the best gift is simply a cozy night at home spent with your loved one. Don’t stick to the same old mundane evening in, though. Purchase ingredients to make homemade pizzas and ice cream sundaes, pop open a bottle of local wine, light a fire, and curl up with a classic movie. Carving out intentional time to spend with your loved one within the walls of your own home is often the best gift of all!

5) BUILD MEMORIES WITH A HOMETOWN ADVENTURE

Explore your town and get to know new places while making memories through your own, customized DIY food and drink tour. Kick off your adventure at a new brewery or wine bar for a pre-dinner cocktail. Next, head to a tapas restaurant for a small bite... we suggest trying something you've never tasted before! Then, venture on to a restaurant you haven't yet visited for a shared meal (be sure to make reservations if you’re planning to celebrate on Valentine’s Day!). Finally, finish off the evening with local ice-cream or a nightcap from an intimate pour house or bar. Spreading your evening across multiple locations will create that sense of the fun and adventure found in traveling, all while remaining in the comfort of the familiar spaces of your own town.
