We’re all accustomed to having a spare tire on hand for the surprise flat, but have you ever considered the idea of keeping a spare pillow? Typically when we think about pillows our beds or couches come to mind, but what about those desperate times that call for desperate measures and you’re in dire need of a little shut eye and comfort? You’ll never know when you just might need a pillow on hand and today we’re sharing the top ten reasons to have a spare pillow:


1) In Case of Car Trouble
On long road trips you’ll usually have a pillow somewhere nearby anyway (especially if you’re taking turns as the driver), but what about your day-to-day driving? You never know when you may be stuck on the side of the road waiting for Triple A or the tow truck, so why not keep a small travel pillow on hand for these unexpected, not-so-convenient moments of car trouble?

2) For Your Flight
While a flight that’s traveling for more than a handful of hours will most likely supply you with one of their pillows to use, the paper cover and stiff fill isn’t quite the comfort we’re looking for when in the air. Long day on your feet or spent hunched over a computer? Even if you don’t realize it, your lumbar area will and the last thing its going to want to do is sit in rush hour traffic on the way home.
