How to Wash Yellowed Pillows

If you think about it, we hang out with our pillows more than just about anyone. They greet us How to Clean Yellowed Pillowsevery night as we crawl into bed and give our heads a soft place to land while we drift off into dreamland. They truly are the best of friends. That said, after many nights of dreaming, our pillows begin to see the wear and tear of being our dream carriers, and before we know it, they've turned a not-so-pretty shade of yellow (yuck!).

As fellow pillow lovers, we’re always searching for the best ways to clean our pillows and today we’ll be sharing a few of the tips and tricks we’ve learned along the way when it comes to returning that yellowed pillow to white... just in time for spring cleaning! 







WHAT YOU NEED:
HOW TO CLEAN YOUR PILLOWS 

▶️ 1 Cup of Hydrogen Peroxide

▶️ 1/2 Cup of Vinegar

▶️1 Scoop or Cap Full of Laundry Detergent(Powder or Liquid)

▶️1/2 Cup of Laundry Boost (Washing Soda)








WHAT TO DO:

1) Place your pillows into the tub of your washing machine. Be sure to use at least two to ensure even distributed weight in the machine!

2) Add 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide and 1/2 cup of vinegar to tub

3) Set the washing machine to “Soak” and let it run through that cycle

4) Upon completion of the soak cycle, add your cap-full or school laundry detergent AND 1/2 cup of laundry boost

5) Wash on a normal cycle

6) Toss the pillows into the dryer (throw a tennis ball in for some extra fluffiness!) and let them dry

7) Voila! Super white pillows, ready for your spring-cleaned bedroom!
