Best Thanksgiving Tablescapes

Nov 10th 2018

Can you believe it? Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away and we can hardly wait to dig into all the turkey, cranberries, mashed potatoes, and, of course, pumpkin pie! While there can sometimes be a bit of stress associated with the traditional day of family gatherings, and it's typically best to leave most hot-topic subjects  (ahem, politics) off of the table (quite literally!), nothing beats a beautifully styled place to gather. We're still nailing down our own Thanksgiving decor plans, and decided to share the best Thanksgiving tablescapes we've seen yet,... plus outline a few of our favorite styling tips to consider as you prep your home for a day of thankfulness, loved ones, and feasting:

Thanksgiving Tablescapes

1) All Natural Simplicity
Natural woods and soft candle light instantly transforms any space into beautiful sophistication! This scape featured in Brit Co. is stunning beyond all measures and offers a sense of cozy elegance without being over the top or too stuffy. Want to make your own tree stump or log placemats? 2) Pops of Color with a Southern Flair
This one had our attention at magnolia leaves! Rather than sticking with the well-known hues of autumn, this table adds sparks of royal purple, adding just enough color to create dimension and beauty fit for a queen. The simple use of magnolias and white candles warms up the table perfectly and seems to beckon guests to huddle around for hours.

3) Traditional Colors & Themes
Thanksgiving is the ultimate picture of harvest and gatherings, and sometimes it's best to stick to what we know and love. This beautiful tablescape is welcoming and simple without missing a beat of elegance. The variety of pumpkins paired with fresh greenery, white candles, lovely china, and mustard-colored goblets is what Thanksgiving meal dreams are made of! Throw in the use of the table cloth to tie it all together and we're sold.

4) Light Southern Elegance
Nothing speaks to our southern-based hearts during the fall as much as a white pumpkins and gold accents! This elegant space by Living with Landon is almost as close to perfect as you can get. From the perfect centerpiece and the sweetly tied napkins to the crystal goblets and burlap runner, a scene like this will surely encourage your guests to linger for hours. Plus, throwing in that pillow at the head of the table? A true sign of brilliance if we've ever seen it!

4) Colorful Loveliness
If you've been around PillowCubes at all in the past year or so, you've probably picked up on our (not so subtle) love for the color blue! While not a traditional "fall hue", incorporating blue into fall decor is something we've grown to love tremendously... and this tablescape by Casa De Perrin does it perfectly. All you need are some mini pumpkins (you can usually score faux ones at the dollar store for a buck a pop!) and a few cans of spray paint to make this table dream your own!
