Incorporating Pillows into Fall Decor
Fall has officially landed and between football games, crisper mornings, and pumpkin-spiced-everything, we are pretty happy with this change in seasons! As we begin getting our pumpkin-themed decor out of storage, adding a few more candle throughout our homes, and cozying up summer-cooled spaces, we have the perfect opportunity to practice some fun decor-creativity... specifically with pillows! Believe it or not there are more ways than one to incorporate pillows into your fall decor, and today we're excited to share a few.

Add Pillows in Unexpected Places
Sure, a fall-themed pillow or two added to your sofa is one of the first ways to quickly transform your living room into a Autumn-inspired space, but if you really want to wow your visitors, why not add a pillow or two to an unexpected place in the home? We love how this wooden chair in a corner is instantly transformed into an inviting, warm space without being too over the top with the use of just a few, contrasting pillows.

Cozy-Up Your Fall Mantle 
One of our favorite aspects of Autumn decorating is transforming our mantles into creative displays of warm colors, pinecones, twine, and all things fall. Adding a pumpkin, artwork, floral arrangements, and a -of course- a fall throw pillow to your hearth brings life and a pop of pizazz. Baskets are great items to keep on hand for all sorts of seasons and decor needs... but they're especially perfect for fall! Filling them up with chunky blankets, stuffed pumpkins, and fun-covered pillows only add to their greatness as a decor item.

Don't Forget the Rockers!
We're all about outdoor pillows for our patios in the warmer months, but we shouldn't forget about the need for comfort and coziness during the fall! While jack-o-lanterns, various sized pumpkins, and gourds all contribute to your outdoor scene, adding a few layered throw pillows to your front porch or patio with fall-themed phrases or images brings just a little extra "somethin'-somethin'"!

Window Seats & Benches Create Perfect Pillow Backdrops 

Window seats and indoor benches serve as the best stages for pillow displays - especially when you have cute, seasonal covers you don't want to be missed!  Throw a pillow on top of a draped blanket and you have a sweet place to curl up with a book and mug of hot tea.
