At this time of year, we all tend to reflect on the past year to celebrate successes and learn from bumps in the road. There’s something exciting about remembering all the awesome moments of the year, and we can definitely relate to that at PillowCubes.   

We started out 2015 with just a few customers and a big vision of American-made, amazing pillow forms at unbelievable prices. We were sure that our vacuum sealing process was a game changer, but couldn’t even fathom all the benefits in the beginning. We knew that process would allow us to pack more pillows in a case (also known as a Cube around here), which would help lower shipping costs in turn. This is a pretty big deal since shipping a pillow is pretty costly due to the dimensions (and despite the fact that they weigh practically nothing). As the year went by, we found that our customers loved the ability to store lots of vacuum-packed pillow forms in a small space--they could buy more forms at once while saving on pillow costs, shipping, and time. Of course, we also found a few hard-core fans along the way, who just seem to love unpacking those forms and watching the pillows spring to a fluffy life.

No Order Minimums

 It originally seemed that our product and process would best serve large pillow re-sellers and designers, but we started getting more and more interest from designers and crafters of all levels. Increasingly, we were asked to sell pillow inserts in less-than-case sizes. This was kind of an awkward proposition, since our name and purpose had only revolved around selling a Cube of Pillows. But hey, we figured any box is a cube, and all our boxes would have pillows, so we gave our customers the best of both worlds. You can now buy a single pillow, a smattering of pillows in random sizes and fills, a case of pillows, or even pallets full of PillowCubes! Of course, we still offer discounts for case (and higher) orders.

Free Shipping

Our other big move in 2015 was to offer free shipping on orders over $75. You may wonder why we had to limit the free shipping to pillows with dimensions at or below 26 inches. This is because pillows larger than 26 inches won’t fit in our vacuum sealer. That doesn’t stop us from making larger pillow forms; we just can’t cover the shipping on those items. We’ll make just about any pillow shape you can think of, and send it anywhere in the United States, all while doing everything we can to make our excellent product affordable in every way.
