Seeing the creativity of John and Drew Scott, Tarek and Christina El Moussa, and -- of course -- Chip and Joanna Gaines only serves as a spark for our imaginations and sends our homemaking, designer antennas into high gear. Whether it's a living room transformation or a whole-house makeover, seeing the before and after pictures inspire us and get our creative juices flowing in all of the best ways. Today, we're sharing a few of our favorite HGTV Home Renos to kick off your week well! 

1) THIS "Flip or Flop" Beautiful Backyard Makeover
From barren land to a vibrant paradise - this is the kind of backyard makeover we're all looking for. Not only is the landscaping itself nothing short of a miracle, but the perfectly positioned couches and various seating areas (complete with gorgeous pillows, of course) truly make this backyard beauty one to be envied by pool party-goers everywhere.

2) THIS "Brother vs. Brother" Bedroom Transformation
We can hardly believe that this empty shell-of-a-space "before" was so stunningly transformed into the serene "after". From the unexpected painted ceiling to the sliding farmhouse style door, every aspect of this bedroom reno is to die for.

3) THIS "Love It Or List It" Clutter to Stunner 
From clutter to stunner, the Love It or List It designers are at it again with their redesign magic. It's hard to believe that this bedroom went from shabby to chic with just a few changes. Rooms like this inspire us to think beyond the mess. Sometimes it's difficult to see beyond our old "stuff", but once it's removed more space to create is revealed!

4) THIS "Brother Vs. Brother" Storage Room Wowza 
Now THIS is what renovation creativity is made of! The brothers never cease to blow us away with their out-of-the-box thinking and we adore this cozy storage space! The cubbies provide functional storage while still looking cute and remaining practical with the bench seating - complete with a variety of throw pillows, of course!

5) THIS "Flip or Flop" Metamorphosis 
While this reno doesn't necessarily have tons of pizazz or unique features, we're still big fans of how a room can go from "yuck" to "yay" in just a few short days. Transformations like this go to show that not all overhauls need to be full of glitz and glam. We love the simplicity of the new space and the subtle pops of color and design brought in with the use of the mustard-toned pillows.

6) This "Brother Vs. Brother"  Living/Dining Overhaul
WOW. This redesigned space is not only something to feast our eyes on (hello, gorgeous wood ceiling!), but the way the space is divided and conquered into both a sitting and eating room is beyond excellent. While the original orange fireplace was... interesting (to say the least), changing that wall into a storage closet was a far better use of wall space! Once again, the brothers' keen eye for design and reno choices has us scheming and dreaming up changes for our own homes!

7) THIS Drab to Fab Living Room Facelift by "Love It Or List It" 
For as gorgeous as the wood ceilings were in the above room, the wooden trim of these windows had to go! The bones of this room (with the bay window) were prime for a beautiful, inviting space and a fresh coat of paint, new trim, curtains, and more modern furniture truly transformed the entire room into an home entertainer's dream!

8) THIS Chip & Joanna Living Room Beauty 
A few white coats of paint, bead-board and neutral decor can go a long way in brightening up a space well... and Chip and Joanna are no strangers to these home reno concepts! This simple living room update transformed the outdated room into a cozy, Pottery Barn catalog worthy space. As always, the use of throw pillows adds just enough comfort without being over the top or sloppy. Chip and Joanna win again!

9) THIS Modern Loft 
While the space was already neat to begin with, Fixer Upper took it to all neigh heights (literally! The ceilings were raised) and it was transformed into a city-dweller's dream space. The industrial inspired space steers away from being sterile and "cold" with the use of area rugs, a comfortable sectional, and all sorts of pillows!

10) THIS Oh-So-Perfect Living Space
It's hard to believe that the dreary space on the left could be transformed into something so serene and calming. The natural light pouring in, light blinds, shutters, and soft hues all add to the overall sense of "ahh, relaxation. We're also advocates for the live plants which bring so much life to the room!
